A Victorian metal curtain pole with decorative grooved finials.
This brass-plated curtain pole, rings and supports were reclaimed from an historic house in the North East of England and we believe date back to the Victorian period. As such a lot of the brass plating has rubbed off the curtain pole after years of use. However it is still a fine looking piece.
The curtain pole and finials are tin, plated with brass, as are the curtain rings, of which there are 20. There are three curtain pole brackets, which are solid brass and have a small flower detail to the front.
